About Us
Introduction
Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIAT) is co-founded by the Shenzhen Municipal Government and Chinese Academy of Sciences, relying on the basis of Shenzhen Advanced Technology Institute. It aims at building a science and technology based, scientific leading, world-class research-oriented university, located in Shenzhen, a vibrant and cosmopolitan city with growing high-tech industries.

Seizing the great opportunities to pursue innovation-driven developments in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (hereinafter referred to as the Greater Bay Area) and aiming at addressing the technological and talent needs of future industries, we are committed to building a world-class research-oriented university that is underpinned by well-established disciplines of sciences and engineering and led by pioneering technologies.
To provide a diverse campus community with the fusion of teaching, research and innovation to educate its students in “E(Engineering) – T(Technology) – S(Science)” and cultivate innovative talents with interdisciplinary academic knowledge, entrepreneurship, international perspective and management experience to best serve the regional innovative development and the world .
