Wi-Fi

SIAT wireless LAN is covering around 80% of campus with more than 800 access points.

Our wireless access points support the standard of IEEE 802.11b/g/a/n/ac for radios of 2.4 Ghz/5Ghz and provide the speed up to 450Mbps for wireless connections. The wireless network service is provided to different users with different accounts and different policies.

All staff, students, and guests

Account Types

Full Time Staff / Student

The wireless LAN accounts, “APO” and “SIAT-Staffs”for all full time staff and students are default opened with the initial email accounts. Staff and students can use the wireless LAN accounts to access SIAT Intranet service and Internet service.

Guest User 

The wireless LAN accounts,  “APO” and ”SIAT-Guests” are opened for all staff, students, guests and others.

The password for “APO” is:12345678.

Users should login with their Wechat Account to access the ”SIAT-Guests” wireless LAN.
